We were looking for the 'LA Hillsider' fixtures that are in the BSL display, but noone can remember where they are actually installed. Woodland Hills seemed like a good place to start, as it's...well, hilly, and residential so that's where we went. However, the top right pic here would seem to have been taken in Reseda! We did do a lot of miles round the west Valley that day.
Update August 2011:
Glen Norman reports the light in the top right pic at Newcastle & Valley
Vista in Reseda has been replaced with HPS.

The teardrops pictured here- these I think are GE 101-D 'Long Globe' are on Margarita Dr in Woodland Hills. Look at the BB hole in the closeup.
