Status unknownCheck attempted on "as of" date (usually via GSV in this case), but status of light could not be determined at that time, usually as fixture could not be found again
as of Jul 2019 but probably gone that year
This parking lot near a store that's being demolished is in the area where Whittier College is, and it's home to some unusual lights...

There are a couple of GE Powerglow A-1000s too, this one is on a parking lot off Bright Ave., between Hadley and Bailey.

On the same parking lot (off Bright Ave., between Hadley and Bailey) looking rather big for it's surroundings is the big Powerglow- the A-4000.

Looking at these two post tops, located on a pedestrian walkway in the middle of the 6500 block of Greenleaf, I'm not so sure any more that they are actually GE Powerglow A-1000s- they look too new! They are very similar, though, if not the genuine article after all...?

We're now at the intersection of WHittier Blvd and Colima, and this parking lot is home to a very rare sight in these parts- L-M Ovalites and GE Form 109s both lighting the same lot.

Following the find in Whittier, we continued east on Whittier Blvd, and came across another cool sight in La Habra. This is the 100 block of E Whittier, the nearest cross st. is Euclid, and this triple fluorescent fixture is on the lot of a boat dealership.

At least these are fixtures intended for Powergroove- the indents on the tube are meant to face down- if this fixture had just had standard VHO sockets they would have been rotated by 90 degrees and a PG tube fitted would have the indentations facing side to side. Seen as most of the light comes from the indents, it's not a good thing to mount them incorrectly.
