This is Simuel Rd, which runs parallel on the east side of I-85 business loop for a short time north of exit 3 (New Cut Rd), about 3 miles northwest of downtown Spartanburg. The rather stylish looking 1950s building when we were there was the offices of a Cemex cement plant next door. I'm guessing the equally stylish poles and fixtures were part of the original installation, also that they would be mercury or even incandescent. Latest GSV (April 2017) shows the building now vacant, but for sale and still well maintained. The poles and fixtures look untouched for now.
