Update Feb 2011: My spies tell me almost all these clear mercs have gone, replaced by decorative HPS fixtures.
Ruston is a tiny town at the north end of Tacoma. It used to be a company town in the early part of last century but has retained its separate city status from the rest of Tacoma.
Its lighting is different to Tacoma, too...AE 13s and AE25s, (and a solitary OV-20!) with clear mercury lamps.
This makes for a residential street scene not seen in many other places in Washington State any more, or any other place for that matter.
Here's a great view, taken from Park (54th) and Bennett, in the northeast corner of Ruston, looking east across the Puget Sound.
