These pictures were taken on the same road as the Huddersfield ones on the flourescent page (roughly 151 New Hey Rd, A640). Overhead power to streetlights is very rarely seen in this part of the world any more, and these lines are probably not used anymore, the luminaires having been swapped and probably converted to an underground power supply. The only other place I've seen a setup like this (now removed) was a small stretch of Brunswick St, Manchester.
