This abandoned softball field is located on County Road 103, east of Ontario which is a small place in upstate NY east of Rochester. It caught our eye due to the large amount of metal halide
sportslighters on 10 poles dotted round the place.

GSV shows this park as being abandoned since 2019, in 2013 the park and restaurant next to it were both active. It was called "Capizzo's Sports Park and Restaurant" apparently. No word on why it closed.

The installation was quite ad hoc to start with, as can be seen from a closeup of the ballasts on one pole. As it's not been unused for more than 3-4 years, the installation is surviving reasonably well,
so no valdalism really, yet.
