Inman is on Kansas Hwy61 between McPherson and Hutchinson, or 50-60 miles as the crow files northwest of Wichita.
One light of passing interest, this integral ballast mercury at the entrance to the Pleasant View Rest Home on E Center St. It's possibly a privately owned fixture, but these tiny towns served by rural electric co-ops often use and re-use old fixtures to save money.
