These pictures were taken around Astley, Manchester, UK in December 2000 where there was a small ice storm- extremely rare for these parts. All the lighting there used to be LPS, and the effect of the monochromatic yellow light on the snow was very interesting.
Some HPS here also, this is Courtyard Drive, Little Hulton. Unfortunately the camera I had at the time did not distinguish very well between HPS and LPS.
