Greenville is a pleasant place on I-85 between Charlotte NC and Atlanta GA. We were passing through, and noticed these fine examples of 80s/90s mercury decorative post tops, dayburning too.
These fixtures appear to have been part of an old streetscaping project, and several are located on Main St, either side of E Washington. Latest GSV (early 2017) shows them still surviving, indeed the whole of the downtown area still seems to have escaped LED conversion.
