Update May 2025: As of 2024 they're still all there, and the building is occupied by a solar company, but a close look at the GSV is interesting.
Around June 2016 most of these poles sprouted what looks like solar panels, not combined solar/lighting fixtures but just solar panels. The view isn't really clear enough to
confirm this though and my hunch is they are just thin looking solar fixtures. This does however raise the interesting prospect of the Powerglows possibly having solar LED retrofits. Whether this is in fact the case, and whether they are still
working 9 years from their first appearance, is unanswered at the time of writing.
Actually about 6 miles NW of Fresno, the map says this is actually Highway City. Just
off N Golden State, on Shaw, there is an old Levitz store.
Lots and lots of GE Powerglow A4000s- the big ones.
They're in good condition too.
No idea if they work- the store is long closed but sometimes there's cases of parking lot lights of closed stores still working.
