Starting about 120 miles further north than Dillard, this is I-5 southbound exit 234B at Albany. This freeway exit was interesting in that there were a short run of L-M Ovalites- the later one piece style.

Now to Dillard- Dillard is a tiny place in southern Oregon (about 2h south of Albany), and can be got to by leaving I-5S at exit 119 and going south along Hwy 99 and through Winston.
Right in the middle of Dillard there's just one light of interest- a very rare top mount Form 109. As you can see from the closeup, it's not in too good a condition, the lens appears to be held on with wire and electrical tape. It's not known if it works or not, but wiring to the ballast and photocell look OK.

SurvivingChecked on "as of" date (either in person or via latest GSV available), so can be assumed to be surviving at least as far as that date
as of May 2018
There's a rather sick looking fixture in the parking lot next to where the Form 109 is- not sure what it is, but it does (did) have an elliptical mercury lamp.

Update November 2008: These pics taken by Jim Terry.
Here's a great sight- against all the odds, this old Form 109 is still working, burning a clear mercury lamp. These shots are from either side of the general store that the light stands outside of. You can also see to the right of the left hand pic (get the fullsize version), that the smashed flood pictured above, actually works too! You can just about see the back of the flood on the pole, it lights up the side of the general store. In the right hand pic, the flood is the lower light on the left.

Here's a closeup of the Form 109. You can see bugs and muck in the bottom of the lens, not surprising considering this light is held together with electrical tape!
Update April 2014:
This Form 109 survivor is no more. It has been replaced, sometime since we last visited in September 2013, and now, with a FCO HPS fixture. The flood survives however.
