The city centre is full of these HPS luminaires (GE 'Crimefighter') with the conical- shape lenses. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you won't find these anywhere else in the USA...perhaps the utility got an end-of-line deal? :)
Update: 2006This, in fact, is not the case! Have a look at the page for Boise, ID to see some more Crimefighters.
I've just included this one (taken from the Sears tower looking south) to demonstrate the rise and rise of HPS! Apart from the parking lot bottom right of the picture, 'white' night time illumination is nowhere to be seen anymore...roll on cheaper metal halide fittings!
