Update Jul 2025: Unfortunately almost all the streets pictured here were within the area affected by the Eaton Fire (started Jan 7 2025) so I suspect most of this installation is now gone. In pictures
of the aftermath, I saw one or two of the old poles left, so hopefully they will be preserved in the reconstruction effort.
There's a pleasant neighborhood north of Altadena Dr in which the original lighting was retrofitted with
MH, thus keeping the daytime appearance, and making for a very nice night scene too. This is Maiden at Rubio.

To finish the pics of this particular neigborhood, a closeup of one of the GE NEMA heads with a gumball lens. The overall effect round here is very pleasing. No word on whether this installation was changed to group switched
multiple wiring when it was changed to MH, or left as underground series wired.

Just over the border into Pasadena, Lincoln Ave at Montana. This short stretch just north of the 210 has in addition to the roadway lighing, sidewalk globes which are mercury.
