There's a pleasant neighborhood north of Altadena Dr which is not so unusual lighting- wise, but very well done nevertheless. What's been done here is to retrofit the original lighing with MH, thus keeping the daytime appearance, and making for a very nice night scene too. This is Maiden at Rubio.

Palm & N Mount Curve. Most of the streets off Lake and Marengo are lit this way.

Athens & Lake. There is the odd cobrahead around. As I remember from going back at night, some of these are HPS.

To finish the pics of this particular neigborhood, a closeup of what is a bog- standard GE NEMA head with a gumball lens. Not very unusual, but the overall effect round here is very pleasing.

Lincoln Ave at Montana. This short stretch just north of the 210 has in addition to the roadway lighing, sidewalk globes which are mercury.
