These pictures were taken at the former Red Lion Sacramento Inn, located northeast of downtown Sacramento at exit 160 of I-80 business loop, on Sacramento Inn Way. It was built in 1954 and was at the time one of the largest hotels in the region. Soon after these pics were taken in 2012, Red Lion sold the property, and it entered into a phase of decline under the new owners. It finally closed in 2015 after complaints over crime, and code violations. The site was cleared by July 2016.
